John 20:11-23 (NIV)

¹⁰Then the disciples went back to their homes, ¹¹but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb ¹²and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

¹³They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?"

"They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." ¹⁴At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.

¹⁵"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him."

¹⁶Jesus said to her, "Mary."
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).

¹⁷Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' "

¹⁸Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

¹⁹On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" ²⁰After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

²¹Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." ²²And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

20:11 馬利亞卻站在墳墓外面哭。哭的時候，低頭往墳墓裏看，20:12 就見兩個天使，穿著白衣，在安放耶穌身體的地方坐著，一個在頭，一個在腳。20:13 天使對他她說：「婦人，你為甚麼哭？」她說：「因為有人把我主挪了去，我不知道放在哪裏。」20:14 說了這話，就轉過身來，看見耶穌站在那裏，卻不知道是耶穌。20:15 耶穌問她說：「婦人，為甚麼哭？你找誰呢？」馬利亞以為是看園的，就對他說：「先生，若是你把他移了去，請告訴我，你把他放在哪裏，我便去取他。」 20:16 耶穌說：「馬利亞。」馬利亞就轉過來，用希伯來話對他說：「拉波尼！」（拉波尼就是夫子的意思。）20:17 耶穌說：「不要摸我，因我還沒有升上去見我的父。你往我弟兄那裏去，告訴他們說，我要升上去見我的父，也是你們的父，見我的　神，也是你們的　神。」 20:18 抹大拉的馬利亞就去告訴門徒說：「我已經看見了主。」她又將主對她說的這話告訴他們。20:19 那日（就是七日的第一日）晚上，門徒所在的地方，因怕猶太人，門都關了。耶穌來，站在當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」20:20 說了這話，就把手和肋旁指給他們看。門徒看見主，就喜樂了。20:21 耶穌又對他們說：「願你們平安！父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。」20:22 說了這話，就向他們吹一口氣，說：「你們受聖靈！20:23 你們赦免誰的罪，誰的罪就赦免了；你們留下誰的罪，誰的罪就留下了。」

三、給我的教訓（命令、應允、榜樣、責備、警告）是什麼？

1>真心愛主的婦女 A woman who truly loved the Lord
抹大拉的馬利亞，是第一個看見復活主的人。她只是一個平凡人，暨不是主的門徒，也不具備特別的屬靈恩賜或知識，更沒有成就偉大的事工，尤其是一個女性。但是，她卻深深的愛著主耶穌，所以大清早就去到墳墓探視主耶穌，找不到就心疼哭泣。而且，別人都回去了，她還是不回去，一邊哭、一邊找，後來不僅天使向她顯現，連主耶穌都親自向她顯現。所以，她蒙受了特別的福氣。
顯然，在上帝的家中，比較不缺乏：具備屬靈知識、擁有屬靈恩賜、參與各樣事工的人，上帝的家中，比較需要的是：像抹大拉的馬利亞這樣，對主有著單純及真實愛情的人。
反省：我對主耶穌的愛，有多少體會？我愛主有多深？如何表達出來？

Mary Magdalene was the first person to meet the resurrected Jesus. She was a lay person, neither was she one of the disciples nor was she spiritually gifted. She did not accomplish anything great either. She was just a woman, yet she loved the Lord profoundly. Therefore, in the early morning, she went to the tomb to see Jesus and cried because she could not find Him. Moreover, she did not leave as everyone else. She kept crying and looking for Jesus. In the end, angels appeared to her and Jesus met her where she was. She was blessed in a very special way.

In the house of God, there is no lack of people with spiritual gifts and knowledge to serve in various ways. Instead, we want to see more of people like Mary Magdalene who had true love for Jesus.

Reflection: How much do I perceive Jesus’ love? What is the depth of my love toward Jesus and how do I express it?

2>主動啟示的耶穌 Jesus revealed Himself
根據抹大拉的馬利亞在墓旁的經驗，復活主並不是靠她的努力找到的，而是復活主主動向人啟示、顯現的。復活主不僅主動向抹大拉的馬利亞顯現，同時也主動向門徒顯現。同樣的道理，憑著人的智慧、方法，也沒有辦法認識這位奇妙的上帝，除非祂願意向我們啟示。
反省：我怎麼認識上帝？潛心研究？企圖以科學證實？或憑信心接受上帝的啟示？
According to Mary Magdalene’s experience at the tomb, she found Jesus not by personal effort but by Jesus appearing to her. Jesus revealed Himself not only to Mary Magdalene, but also to the disciples. In the same way, unless Jesus reveals Himself, no one can get to know the wonderful God through human wisdom or effort.

Reflection: How do I get to know God? Is it through diligent study or scientific proofs? Do I receive it by faith?
3>復活是最高奧秘 the most awesome wonder--resurrection
有關主耶穌的復活，尤其復活之後的形體，確實是一個奧秘。根據聖經的描述，復活主的形體似乎以超越空間（障礙、隔離）的限制。因為門徒聚在一起，而且門窗緊緊關著，復活主卻突然出現在他們當中。但 是另一方面，卻又似乎有形也有體。因為祂的手、祂的肋旁，都可以觸摸。就對多馬說：「伸過你的指頭來，摸我的手；伸出你的手來，探入我的肋旁。不要疑惑， 總要信！」（20:27）後來，復活主甚至和門徒一起吃飯。（路加福音24:30）但是當門徒認出祂是主耶穌的時候，卻又突然之間消失、不見了。（路加福 音24:30-31）
復活的形體、復活的神蹟，提醒我們一件事，就是見證上帝奇妙、偉大的創造，這個奇妙、偉大的創造，不是憑人的知識所能理解，這是超越理智、科學的神蹟，惟有信心才能體會。
反省：針對主復活的奧秘，我是否憑信心完全接受？或半信半疑？或疑慮仍深，無法相信？
The physical form of the resurrected Christ indeed is a wonder. From the account of the Bible, His resurrected physical form seemed that it transcended the limitation of dimensions and barriers. On one hand, Jesus suddenly appeared to the disciples while they were hiding in a closed room. Yet on the other, it seemed that He had a physical form, His hands and side could be touched. In verse27, Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” He ate with His disciples and suddenly disappeared from their sight when they recognized Him. (See Luke24:30-31)
The resurrection of Jesus reminds us of the greatness of God’s creation and His wonderful deeds. It is beyond human knowledge and understanding. It is a miracle which transcends rationality and science; it could only be grasped through faith.

Reflection: Do I fully accept the wonder of Jesus’ resurrection by faith? Am I double-minded when it comes to belief? Do I still doubt and not believe it?
4>賜下平安的耶穌 Jesus bestows peace
那日（就是七日的第一日）晚上，門徒所在的地方，因怕猶太人，門都關了。耶穌來，站在當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」說了這話，就把手和肋旁指給他們看。門徒看見主，就喜樂了。耶穌又對他們說：「願你們平安！父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。」（v19-21）

當時主耶穌的門徒，正陷入驚慌恐懼之中，因為擔心猶太人的迫害，所以心中沒有平安。當主耶穌復活之後，向他們顯現時，第一句話總是說：願你們平安！這是安慰，也是祝福。尤其當看過主耶穌的釘痕（手）與槍傷（肋旁）之後，因為確知是主，所以門徒就都喜樂了。
反省：我心中有平安嗎？有喜樂嗎？因為主的復活，我的生命有什麼改變？
The disciples were hiding and were afraid of the persecution of the Jews. They were in despair. When Jesus appeared to them, the first words He said to them were, “Peace be with you.” It was a comfort and a blessing at the same time. Especially after seeing the wounds by the nails and spear, they became joyful, because they knew for sure that it was the Lord.

Reflection: Is there peace and joy in my heart? Is there any change in my life because of Jesus’ resurrection?
5>領受奉差的使命 Accept Christ’s mission
耶穌又對他們說：「願你們平安！父怎樣差遣了我，我也照樣差遣你們。（v21）
主耶穌對門徒說，天父上帝怎樣差遣祂，祂也照樣差遣他們（門徒）。事實上，今天也這樣差遣我們，也就是差遣我們繼續完成主耶穌在世上未完成的使命。因此，我們每一個人都是帶使命的，也就是為復活主作見證，引領人歸向祂的使命。
反省：我是否清楚自己的責任？是否領受主耶穌所託付的使命？是否盡力去完成？
²¹Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (v21) These words are not only for the disciples but also for us. We are sent to continue Jesus’ unfinished work. We are missionaries for the resurrected Lord and to lead people to Him.

Reflection: Do I clearly understand the responsibilities? Do I accept the commissioning of Christ and do my best to accomplish it?
6>復活主所做的事 What did the resurrected Lord do?
當復活主顯現的時候，總共作了三件事：When the resurrected Lord appeared to the disciples, He did the following:
a差遣他們：將未完的使命交給他們。Sent the disciples: commissioned them to do His work
b賜下聖靈：將事奉的能力賜給他們。Gave them the Holy Spirit: empowered them to serve
c賜下權柄：將事奉的權柄賜給他們。（並非有權定他人的罪，而是有權宣佈福音信息）Bestowed authority on them: gave them the authority not to condemn but to spread the Gospel
反省：我是否領受奉差遣的使命？是否擁有聖靈的能力？是否積極傳揚福音真理信息？
Reflection: Do I accept the mission from Jesus? Am I empowered by the Holy Spirit? Do I actively share the Gospel?
